PME surveys
We regularly ask our participants to take part in a survey. This page tells you more about these surveys and the research agencies we work with. But also about how we handle your personal data.
Why do we conduct surveys?
We conduct several surveys to get to know the wishes and needs of our participants better. That enables us to improve our service provision. And to take what matters to you into account in the policy choices we make. Some surveys are also required by law.
What kind of surveys do we conduct?
One of the surveys is the Customer Satisfaction Survey among participants who have reached out to us. We investigate how our participants think about current themes, such as socially responsible investment and the new rules for pensions. We also periodically investigate how people think about risks when investing pension money. And we conduct surveys to test new concepts or ideas for our services.
Who carries out our surveys?
The surveys are carried out by PME itself or on behalf of PME. We work closely together with a number of research agencies that help us conduct the surveys. We work together with the following research agencies:

We always want to keep the sharing of your data with research agencies as limited as possible. For each survey, we examine whether, and if so what personal data is necessary to share. For example, for sending out surveys, confirming participation and/or analyzing the results. Often there is no need to share data, but sometimes there is. This may include, for example, pension number, e-mail address, age (group), gender, whether you accrue or receive a pension and - in very limited cases - the amount you receive. And we do this anonymously if possible, so that the research agency does not know which person the data belongs to. For each survey, we indicate whether and what data we want to share.
How do we handle your personal data?
To be able to carry out in-depth analyses, we sometimes value saving your answers in our records at a personal level. The goal is to improve our communication and service provision. We always ask your permission in advance. If you don't give permission, we will include your answers anonymously in analyses of a selection or group. Upon completion of the study, the data will be deleted by the agencie.
What do we use survey results for?
Your opinion is important to us. That enables us to improve our service provision and meet your wishes even better. Where possible, we share the results of a survey with the respondents.
I can win a gift voucher if I participate in one of the surveys. How is it that possible? Isn't the survey is anonymous?
If you can win a gift voucher in one of our surveys, the survey is still anonymous. Your answers to the survey questions will not be linked to your personal details. If you win a gift voucher, we will only use your name and e-mail address once. This is necessary to send you the voucher. We also indicate this in the survey.
