Find your factor A on your UPO

Check the Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) you receive every year to find your factor A amount. For your tax return, you need the factor A amount that is stated on the UPO of the year for which you file your tax return. It can be accessed via your inbox.

You need your factor A to apply for a tax refund

Insurance premiums and deposits for a retirement annuity are tax deductible. Use your factor A amount to calculate the potential tax refund on the site of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (in Dutch).

Use your annual pension statement if you are retired

Retirees no longer have a factor A. You can use your annual pension statement to file your tax return. It can be accessed via your inbox.
